BEEF CHEESE YAKITORI 


I had this dish in A Japanese restaurant and quickly became my favorite Japanese’s food. It is a full of flavor Tender meat with heavenly melted cheese inside. 
This dish is perfect for entertaining your guest or just for a Saturday night Family dinner. Or even if you want a quick and yummy meal In the weekdays. 



The ingredients:

.1 pound meat in carpaccio cut (I used the round eye round beef) 
. 1 pound cheese (Gouda or Monterey) 
. 4 tbsp soy sauce
. 2 tbsp sweet cooking Rice seasoning
. 2 tbsp sugar
. 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce 
. 2 tbsp honey 

How to make it: 

. Cut the meat very thin or ask your butcher to do it for you 
. Cut the cheese in rectangle blocks 
. Use the Bamboo skewers And insert the cheese in it
. Fold the meat over the cheese
. Mix all the liquids and sugar together 
. Soak the meat and cheese sticks in the sauce mixture and flip them time to time 
. Refrigerate the marinated Yakitori for at least 1h 30 minutes 
. Pour 1 teaspoons of oil in a non stick pan and cook for 30 second each side 
. Heat the remaining sauce And In a serving plate, pour it over the beef and cheese Yakitori

Tips: serve the beef and cheese Yakitori with some white rice and steamed vegetables to have a complete meal
