Melting in mount creamy chicken and mushroom


If you are looking for most delicious and easy way to eat chicken you will find it right here in this recipe. This is a great dish for a big family meal or when receiving. I guarantee you it will not let you down. Because of the slow coking technique, you will have a creamy, tender and flavorful chicken to enjoy and share with your beloveds. You will need a whole chicken cut in parts and a 4 hours baking time in the low heat. Plan a head for this recipe so you can get enough baking time. If you have a slow cooker this is an option as well. I usually bake the chicken. But last time, i wanted to try it in a slow cooker just to see what is the difference. Not much difference if you chose the slow cooker, but ill suggest to transfer to the oven for about 30 minutes before serving in 350 F degree for thickening the sauce and have some golden  crust on the chicken. What i like about it, in addition of the great taste, it’s the functionality of the recipe. Ones your chicken is in the oven, you have plenty of time to do other preparations, exercise or even napping hhhh. The ingredients are very simple and the preparation is in 10 minutes with a full pan sheet of yummy chicken and mushroom ready to serve. 
I suggest to serve this dish with white rice, bread, pasta (tagliatelle), boiled potatoes... any think with a high carbohydrate will be supper yummy, depending on your choice.











Yields: 6 people

Cook time: 4 hours 

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken cut in pieces 
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms.  
  • 1 leak sliced chopped 
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream 
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon  mustard 
  • Salt
  • Black pepper 

How to make it:

Mix together the chicken, salt, pepper and mustard and place in a deep pan. Add the heavy cream, the sliced leak and put in the oven set at 260 F, 126 C for 4 hours. In the last 30 minutes add the sliced mushrooms and cover with some sauce using a spoon. 
Serve warm or preheat for later.
